Ryan Fritz WINS the " Wrangler " Award for the " Best Original Western Composition " at the The 56th Annual Heritage Awards !

Canada’s Western Recording Artist Ryan Fritz received a prestigious ‘ Wrangler ‘ at The 56th Annual Western Heritage Awards on April 22, 2017 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. Ryan took home the honor for " Best Original Western Composition " for the title song of his 5th studio album “ Keeper of the West “.

The Western Heritage Awards were established in 1961 as the pinnacle commemoration of the American West by honoring the legacy of men and women for their works in literature, music, film, and television. The Wrangler, is a beautiful bronze sculpture of a cowboy on horseback representing an iconic symbol of the West, determination, persistence, and pride.

A true product of the West, Ryan Fritz was born in BC, raised in Alberta, and now calls Saskatchewan home.  
He is a Singer, Songwriter, Musician and Recording Artist in addition, has worked on some of Canada's largest ranches, including the Gang Ranch and Douglas Lake.  He runs his own outfit on the prairies of Saskatchewan with his family, where traditions of cowboying, ranching and music are a part of everyday life.
